Native to Singapore and often seen in the reservoirs perched on rocks or logs.
This is the kind of subject I really enjoy working with. The more I take away, the more appears. The shell has history, it’s textured surface, scared and stained, all visible to the human on close examination. The camera mostly sees a dull green. Working in B&W reveals what is hidden.
